CGPSC to Recruit 89 Assistant Engineers from CE, ME, and EE Branches


The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has released its recruitment notice for the post of Assistant Engineers (grade B gazetted officer) in various disciplines through Chhattisgarh State Engineering Service Examination 2020.
The State PSC will start accepting online applications from eligible candidates from 10 February, 2020. The last day of submitting online application is 10 March, 2020 (till 12 AM).
By conducting this State level engineering services exam, CGPSC is likely to fill a total of 89 vacancies. The detailed breakdown of the vacancies and departments is as below.

A candidate having degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering from a state or central government recognized university or institution is eligible to present his candidature for this recruitment drive. The eligible age criteria are minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 01 st January, 2020, with an age limit of maximum 40 years for candidates who are resident of Chhattisgarh and a further age relaxation of 5 years for candidates coming under SC/ST/OBC categories of Chhattisgarh. For female candidates from Chhattisgarh state, the maximum age limit is 40 years.
Selection ProcessThe final list of suitable candidates will be prepared on the basis of written exam and interview.
CGPSC-AE Exam PatternThe written exam will include two objective test papers – Paper-I and Paper-II.
