LIST OF THINGS TO DO AFTER THE
GATE 2019 EXAM

GATE Exam 2019 has concluded for Mechanical, Chemical and Computer Science Engineering on 2nd and 3rd February successfully. Some candidates May be satisfied by their performance while other may be thinking an Extra effort was required. Now since the exam is over, candidates must focus on the upcoming opportunities and career option Available with/ without GATE score. Until the final GATE, the result is announced candidates must be clear about their future plans keeping in Mind about their success or failure in GATE EXAM.

Important list of things to do after GATE Exam

If you have a valid good GATE Score

·          M. Tech Direct Admission in IISC/IITs
ü Some IITs take direct admission based on valid GATE Score.

·            M. Tech Admission in IITs through interview
ü  If you do not get direct admission, you need to face interviews in IISC and some IITs.
ü Prepare 4 to 5 important subject from GATE Syllabus to face These IIT interviews.(GATEFORUM Will soon launch post gate guidance 2019     
                                           
·           Other Admission in IITs
ü  You can also apply for interdisciplinary courses, M. Tech (RA),M.S  (Research),and Ph .D in IISC/IITs.

·        M. Tech Admission in NITs
ü To get the admission in NITs, you will be required to choose the Preference of NITs which will be available through CCMT online Counseling
ü CCMT counseling will begin in the month of May/June

·      PSU jobs recruiting through GATE Score:
ü If you are interested in joining PSUs, now you can apply to Various PSUs and after the GATE result, these PSUs shortlist
ü Merit candidates based on GATE Score obtained. See the list of PSU jobs here.
If you do not get a good GATE score or not qualified in GATE Exam
·  Apply to jobs which conduct separate exam:
ü  You can apply to the jobs which conduct a separate exam to recruit the vacancies of various organizations. Will provide the complete list.

        ·  M. Tech Admission in universities/institutes:
ü You can apply to various institute/universities which conduct the separate exams for taking M. Tech admission

                ·   Admission in IITs:

ü Some of the courses IISc/IITs do not require the GATE Score. You can apply to such courses to get the admission in IITs.
